Security Notice: Fake Reservation Messages

Some guests with upcoming reservations are receiving fake messages that look like they come from us. They arrive on WhatsApp, and possibly by text or email, and include real details such as your stay dates and a fake booking reference number. They ask you to “verify” or “confirm” your reservation through a link, sometimes within 24 hours.

These messages are not from Lifestyle Properties. Please don’t click the link, don’t reply, and don’t enter any information. The messages may show the sender name “Pinnacle Teleservices” and use a +91 number from India, which is not connected to us. One example used the address guest-confirmresrv.com, but the link may change.

Your reservation is safe

You don’t need to do anything to keep your booking. We will never:

  • ask you to confirm or verify a reservation through a link sent on WhatsApp or by text message
  • threaten to release your reservation if you don’t respond within a few hours
  • ask you to approve a notification from your bank or share a code sent to your phone
  • ask for your card details, passwords or codes in a message

What happened

The booking technology provider we use told us that someone gained unauthorized access to some of its accounts. The information that may have been seen was limited to reservation dates and guest contact details for some upcoming reservations. No payment information was accessed. We’re very sorry this happened.

If you received one of these messages

  • Don’t click the link or reply. Report the message as spam and block the sender.
  • If you already clicked the link, entered card details or approved something from your bank, call your bank right away using the number on the back of your card, then let us know.

Not sure if a message is really from us?

Contact us directly using the details below, not the ones in the message. We’re happy to check.

Thank you for your understanding. We can’t wait to welcome you to Puerto Vallarta.
