1. Who We Are

Lifestyle Properties Management S. de R.L. de C.V. ("Lifestyle Properties," "we," "our," or "us"), with its office at Venustiano Carranza #277, Local Comercial, Col. Emiliano Zapata, Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, 48380, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data you share with us through lifestylepropertiespv.com, when you book or stay at a property we manage, and when you contact us.

This Privacy Policy is our privacy notice (aviso de privacidad) under Mexico's federal law on the protection of personal data held by private parties. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].

2. Personal Data We Collect

When you book a stay

  • Your name, email address, phone number and billing details.
  • Your travel dates, the property you book and the number of guests.
  • The names, dates of birth and contact details of everyone staying in the property, as required by our Terms & Conditions.
  • A government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or driver's licence) before check-in, which some buildings require for access.
  • Your flight and arrival details, so our concierge can meet you.
  • Any requests or preferences you share with us.
  • Payment information. Card payments are processed by Stripe, the secure payment processor used by our booking platform, and Stripe stores the card details. We do not store full card numbers on our website.

During and after your stay

  • Messages and calls with our team, and notes about your stay (for example, maintenance requests, incidents or damage reports).

When you contact us or use our website

  • Contact forms: first and last name, email, phone number and your message.
  • Strategy session bookings: the details you enter in our scheduling tool (Calendly), such as your name, email and answers to its questions.
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
  • Chat assistant: the messages you write, and your name, email and phone number if you ask our team to contact you.
  • Automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, the site that referred you and your approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).

Property owners

  • If you own a property we manage or ask about our management services, we collect your contact details, information about your property and, under a management agreement, the details needed to pay you.

Sensitive data

We do not ask for sensitive personal data. If you choose to tell us about health or accessibility needs so we can accommodate your stay, we use that information only for that purpose, and by sharing it you consent to that use.

3. How We Use Your Data

Primary purposes (needed to provide our services)

  • To process, confirm, change or cancel reservations, and to collect payments and issue refunds.
  • To prepare your arrival, send access codes, meet you at check-in and support you during your stay.
  • To meet building and property access and security requirements.
  • To answer your questions and requests, including messages sent through our forms and chat assistant.
  • To arrange housekeeping and maintenance, and to handle incidents, damage or disputes.
  • To manage properties under our agreements with owners.
  • To keep our website secure, prevent fraud and comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Secondary purposes (not needed for your stay)

  • To send our newsletter, promotions and travel tips.
  • To ask about your experience and invite you to leave a review.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it.
  • To measure and show our advertising, including on Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram).

Don't want your data used for secondary purposes? Email [email protected] with the subject "Secondary purposes," or use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter. Saying no will never affect your reservation or our service to you.

4. Who We Share It With

To provide your stay, or when the law requires it

  • The owner of the property you book, and the building or condominium administration, when they need your name, dates or ID for access and security.
  • Government authorities, when required by law or by a valid order.
  • Our insurers and legal advisers, if needed to handle a claim.

These transfers are needed to provide the services you ask for or to comply with the law, so under Mexican law they do not require your separate consent.

Service providers who work on our behalf

We use trusted providers who process data only on our instructions and for the purposes above:

  • Our booking platform (Jurny) and our payment processor (Stripe).
  • Website hosting and security (WP Engine and Cloudflare).
  • Email (Google Workspace) and newsletters (Mailchimp).
  • Appointment scheduling (Calendly).
  • Website analytics and advertising (Google and Meta).
  • Our website chat assistant (Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI model).

Many of these providers are located outside Mexico, mainly in the United States, so your data may be processed there.

If you book through Airbnb, VRBO or another platform, that platform shares your booking details with us under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage) to:

  • Make the site work and keep it secure: page delivery and security (Cloudflare, WordPress) and the booking widget (Jurny).
  • Remember your choices: the currency you pick for price estimates, whether you closed the site notice, and your current chat conversation (kept only in your browser session).
  • Measure use of the site: Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager.
  • Advertising: the Meta Pixel, to measure and improve our ads.
  • Newsletter sign-up: Mailchimp, which shows the sign-up window.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may not work properly. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and adjust your ad preferences in your Google and Meta account settings.

6. How Long We Keep It

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, and afterwards for the periods required by tax and commercial law. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

  • Chat assistant conversations are deleted automatically after 90 days.
  • Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. How We Protect It

We use administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if a security incident occurs.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal data, rectify it if it is inaccurate or incomplete, cancel it (ask us to delete it) and oppose its use for specific purposes (your "ARCO" rights). You can also revoke your consent and ask us to limit how we use or share your data.

How to make a request

Email [email protected] with the subject "ARCO rights" and include:

  • Your name and an email address for our reply.
  • A copy of an ID to confirm your identity (or proof that you represent the person concerned).
  • A clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise.
  • Any details that help us find your data, such as reservation dates or a confirmation number.

We will answer by email within 20 business days and, where it applies, act on your request within the following 15 business days. Some data cannot be deleted while it is needed for legal obligations or for your reservation.

If you believe your right to the protection of your personal data has been violated, you may go to the competent data protection authority.

If you live outside Mexico, you may have additional rights under the laws where you live. Contact us and we will help.

9. Children

Reservations must be made by adults. We only receive information about minors from the parent or guardian making the booking, as part of the guest details for the stay.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with its date and, when the changes are significant, let you know by email or with a notice on our website.
