The Neighborhood

Loft 268 is located in the Romantic Zone, AKA Old Town. This is the most happening part of Vallarta and is overflowing with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Basilio Badillo Street is known for having some of the best restaurants in PV and is only one block south of Loft 268.

The beach is a short walk, just 2 blocks west of Loft 268. You'll find several restaurants and bars located on the beach as well as a handful of activities to engage in including: parasailing, jet skiing, banana boat, flyboarding, etc.

Security

This is a gated building with surveillance cameras and security officers onsite 24/7. If guests come to visit you, you'll be able to see their face on a video screen in the condo and can chat with them before deciding to let them in. This building is very safe in a safe neighborhood.

Interaction with Guests

A member of our team will meet you at the building for check in. Afterwards, you can reach us by call or text 24 hours a day OR drop by our local office, located just one block away.

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the condo and the aforementioned common areas in the following schedules:

- An open rooftop from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Sunday.
- A gym open from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM, only 2 people at a time can use it and a reservation in advance is required.
- The pool is closed on Wednesdays until 1:00 p.m. for maintenance reasons.
- A roofop bar open 7-days a week from 12:30pm to 7:30pm (Opening at 1pm on Wednesdays for rooftop and pool cleaning).
- Only two guests' visitors per unit are allowed in the condo and the common areas from 9 AM to 11 PM. They will need to register upon arrival on a binnacle and show a piece of ID.
- Guests will be required to wear access wristbands while using the common areas during their stay, which will be provided at check-in.

Getting Around

You do not need a car to experience downtown Puerto Vallarta. This building is walking distance to everything you need with no hills to walk down or climb up. If you'd like to get out of town Uber, taxis, and busses are readily available.

Other Things to Note
Guests will be required to wear access wristbands while using the common areas, which will be provided at check-in during their stay. Weekly maid service is included for rentals of 7 nights or more. Supplies are provided to begin your stay, if you run out it is your responsibility to replace.

Loft268 Unit 502

The accommodation was comfortable. The only issue was that the oven did not work properly in the Unit. There is a great pool area. The Loft staff Claudia, Victor, Oscar and Pamela were excellent. We must mention the staff of Lifestyles. Krista has worked with us for several years and has really made the whole rental process work for us. She is the \"Face\" of Lifestyles for us. Aurora has worked with us for 2 years and is very prompt with any requests we have and this year Jorge assisted us with checking in.

Building Ideally Situated

We liked working with Lifestyle\'s Krista who was very helpful in finding a condo for us. Aurora, our concierge was there for us when we needed to contact her a couple of times. Great working with Lifestyles. We found the front desk staff at Loft268 informed, very helpful and friendly. A shout out to Gabby, Claudia, Victor and Oscar. Each really made our stay more enjoyable. A word of caution re the slippery tiles around the pool area. There are a number of building rules which did not really impact our stay. We did have visitors who did have to leave photo ID at the front desk which is probably a good idea. In conclusion we recommend Lifestyle Properties and would stay at Loft 268 again.

Loft 268 Stunning building … but

This condo is ideally located - but the management and staff don’t have any idea about hospitality. They go out of their way to make life difficult for guests. The rooftop pool is beautiful until you try to use it it’s too difficult to enter and exit. The pool tiles are very slippery. We saw at least a half dozen people fall and cut their hands, legs or arms. One lady had blood running down her leg and all the staff did was inquire if she was ok?!?! No offer to help - no accident report. We had friends who came to visit us & the were not allowed into the building unless they left their passports with the front desk. A photocopy was offered and not accepted so our friends were not allowed to visit in our unit for a 3/4 hour afternoon visit. Safety and caution must be used at all times. All hallways, balconies and pool area are surrounded by sheets of 3 foot high glass panels. If you tumble in the hallway, pool area, or balcony you could potentially land 7 or so stories down! In summary. Beautiful building architecturally but definitely presents safety concerns. Lifestyles is a great manage to company they were attentive to our requests. We definitely recommend them & will use them for future vacations.

Great Place to Stay

Lovely condo in the best location. Walking distance to the Malecon, shops, great restaurants. we had an ocean view, and were able to see the fireworks from the condo one night. The space was generous, and we enjoyed the balcony, and of course the wonderful rooftop pool. Very friendly welcoming staff in the lobby. Would stay there again for sure.
